Greetings, everyone!

These contests have been a great way for Freelancers to prove what they've got outside of their portfolios, and I aim to seek more talent in the 3D animation department this time around! As the title suggests, I want to see which animators here are capable of producing exciting, fluid fight sequences and which ones can comprehend directions. The rules for this contest are simple:

-Use the .max files provided for your 3D assets. If you cannot load them up, you cannot participate. You do not have to make or rig any models.
-For your render to qualify, the video footage has to be at least 10 seconds long and no longer than 60 seconds.
-We're not sealing the contest because there is no physical way for someone to imitate a quality render's technique and animations in such short time.
-You can choose any sort of action: Fantasy/Crazy/Realistic/Gritty/Ect. The main thing here is that your animations are of quality.
-Tell me your regular rate for 1-minute of animation at the quality you uploaded - after and only after you have submitted an entry.
-Make sure the video you upload is in HD.
-The .max files are the rigged character models and environments/backgrounds. You are only required to use at least two models and one environment of your choosing.

Most importantly: After the very public deadline has passed, there is no extending it or waiting. Make sure, if you intend to participate, that you make the proper time to get your submission in. The winner will be rewarded the cash & the opportunity to get hired for more official work.

  The Dropbox link worked perfectly. Consequently, congratulations on winning the contest! While everyone else were worried about the workload of 10 second animations, you went ahead and did over 240 seconds! lol And a very surefire way of showcasing talent as well. The only thing I'd need to know is how much it would cost per 1-minute of animation for future reference? Actually, there's a lot to show and discuss to properly explain, so if you have a Skype and/or email, definitely share that!

  As there's only 11 hours left from the time I replied to you and I'm not extending the contest length, there's no longer any need to do so. The amount of work and planning everyone says it'll take means it's unreasonable to expect anyone just coming in here to have a quality rendered animation in 11 hours time. If I ever decide to make another animation contest again however, I will indeed be offering a higher prize amount.

About the HD quality. What resolution are we talking about exactly? Is it 1920x1080? Can it be lower than that, but within the HD category?

  No. I just screwed up. The updated briefing will have a new environment to pick from, a new character (with textures) and links to the characters "Preace" and "Hajah" through a public Dropbox link. The updated character "Inali" can be found in the attachments with the textures included.
