Resumen del concurso

We're a manufacturer of electronic (hands free) faucets and electronic (hands free) soap dispensers, as well as other bathroom hardware. Currently, we're looking to introduce new electronic faucets and matching electronic soap dispensers. We're looking for talented 3D modeling industrial product designers to design 3D models for the following items:
1. Faucet that is similar to, or the same as, the faucet in all the photos and files, and
2. Soap dispenser. The soap dispenser is identical to the faucet except that it is 25mm to 30mm shorter than the faucet and it is then scaled 85% overall relative to faucet (80% smaller after it is made 25mm to 30mm shorter).
See attached files.
The first file to view is a jpg file titled "101 faucet and soap dispenser". This photo shows the needed faucet and soap dispenser side by side. Please excuse the lousy Photoshop work. It is not done to professional standards.
All other files are for the faucet.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PDF FILE IS NOT A TRUE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE FAUCET CURVATURE.
The designs must be delivered in solidworks sldprt, format (Please check in the next day or two to see if more formats will be added). The winning design team will be entrusted in designing more faucets and soap dispensers in the coming few months. Those other "more" products are not part of the contest.
We have an engineering team to help when help is needed, so please don't hesitate to ask.
Thank you for participating. I hope this becomes the first step in a long partnership.
Valued Freelancers: Thank you for your valuable time and submissions. One common issue is that the contour of the faucet is not correct. We hope to be able to edit the contest tomorrow by showing more photos of the actual faucet including profile shots.

Comentarios del empleador

“Hire this designer without hesitation. He's brilliant, polite, professional, a good addition to the team. We make a product which required substantial additions and modifications. The product has a specific contour, the original documents were lost to a hard drive crash. All we had to go on is pictures of the actual product. We offered the project as a contest, Ceanet won hands down. The result was an excellent reproduction in Autocad and in solidworks. Two weeks turn around, much of it our engineers going over the drawings. Thank you”

Do you just want the design shown in brief converted to an accurate solidworks part? do you need renderings, drawings? What do you actually want from the designer. Thanks

It's sad you don't accept OBJ, IGS, DWG so on. More people having the chance to show they design ideas with your tap...

Abrudan, I appreciate your great feedback. We can read DWG files (pre 2013) but contour files do not copy well into solidworks. Sorry.
