The business has a long family history over over 130 years. Since 1888, the Wilkinson family have been designing, manufacturing, supplying, inventing bakeware (for the kitchen oven) and cookware (cooker/stove top). We are known for our innovation in a fairly slow changing industry. We have secured several patents on our cookware and bakeware innovation products in the last 10 years. We understand the engineering possibilities and challenges of all products in this industry. We provide reliable quality in large volumes to large international retailers who put their own names on the products we quality control and source.
Our current logo has a heritage feel but we want something that also reflects out innovation, technical expertise & advancement. Our website is www.wilkinson1888.co.uk if you want a better understanding of what we do and our history.
Our company values are: Quality; Integrity & Innovation. Our new logo needs to show this.
We require the logo to have a strong focus on our family name 'Wilkinson' (as this is a well-known name in the bakeware industry in particular) and keep the reference to when our family first started working in the housewares industry in the year 1888. It also needs to include 'England' somewhere in the logo as that is where the company started and where we still design and invent our products. (although maybe the British flag will serve a similar purpose).
Not too much intricate detail because it needs to be easily recognisable after being stamped into metal.
Nothing flowery or whimsical - this are robust metal products and a strong family brand (not the baking produce).
Needs to look good when viewed in monochrome
