Pacific Surf Company is looking for a fun collaboration with a talented graphic designer! Pacific Surf Company is a small locally owned and operated business in Tofino, BC. We offer surf & SUP lessons, rentals, and offer our branded merchandise. We are passionate about what we do, and are leaders within our community. Our mission is to provide everyone the opportunity to experience the life changing impact of the ocean.

We are looking to have someone design one or more fun graphics for our 2019 season. We are looking for something that has a vintage-surf look, and can be used for both apparel (tees, sweaters), with maybe potential to be used on things like toques or as a pattern. We are looking for something versatile, that is surf scene inspired and simple. Attached below are just ideas of colours/feel of what we'd love to see. We are looking for vintage looking colours, something that does not look youth focused, and has a more old school surf vibe.

We are looking to have all files of the graphic sent to us in multiple formats so that it can be used for printing, web, etc. If the file has multiple components, we'd love to have the whole graphic as well as the smaller parts to be able to use it on many different things. Below are some clips for inspiration.

Just a few notes for multiple designers currently working/updating things. I would highly suggest making sure it has 'Tofino, BC' somewhere in the logo, and I would use 'EST' instead of 'SINCE' if you are putting our establishment date.

Would you please take the time to provide feedback? If you don't, most of us just give up and don't submit any additional entries for we don't know what's not up to par, how it can be corrected, etc.. It would only be the polite thing to do since we work for hours trying to come up with a design for you. Thank you.

Just a note to entries, we are not looking for any new slogans or wording. I would suggest sticking to the only wording being some or all of the following: Pacific Surf Company, Tofino BC, Since 1998. Not necessarily all of it, but I wouldn't start making up new wording.

Just to clarify, we are located out on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Scenes should be inspired from the natural landscape that exists there. So mountains, coniferous trees (cedar, spruce, sitka), ocean, and rocky coast.
