What exact name do you want to use on your logo? Civilian Connections LLC

What is your tagline (if applicable)? Building Bridges for Veterans in the Workplace (still pending but we can see if you can make it work)
Please describe your business. Providing career coaching and counseling for veterans transitioning out of the military. There is a facet of the business that also focuses on evaluating existing programs in place and making recommendations on how to increase their success rates increasing the placements in jobs.

What is your target demographic? Vets who have been in the military for 4-10 years. He is planning to separate from the military in the next 6-12 months. This would include all branches of active service and reservist.

Please tell us what colors you have in mind. Part of me wants to do red, white, and / or blue but I don’t want it to be that obvious. Maybe

Please tell us about any certain type of graphic or icon you would like. I don’t have a particular one in mind. I don’t want it to be the stereotypical images associated with veterans because it is almost like they are starting a new life professionally. I wish I could give you exactly what that needs to look like.
Please tell us any ideas in mind for your logo. Have you ever seen the “Veteran Vision Project” on Instagram? Check it out because it is awesome!! I absolutely love those images and it spoke to me immediately. I would like to show that there is much more depth than we or anyone on the outside ever gets to see.

Please list 3 different item you could see being used to represent your organization. Hmmm, I would say boots, flags, and uniform patterns. Contradictory to what I said above about not using typical images but those could work.

Please provide links to any logo or reference images you like. See attached. One of my favorite ones is Powehouse and the IAVA site. There are images on there of vets but they aren’t so obvious.

What should be the first thing to come to your mind when they see your logo? I want someone to be able to feel or see that this focuses on helping vets professionally during the next chapter of their lives. There’s so much that they sacrifice and give up….I want it to spark further dialogue about how, what, or why we help vets.

Please describe and font style you have in mind. Like a courier or a bookman style out of Word. Maybe even a Verdana.

Please provide any additional comments that will help us in your logo design. Let’s make sure we don’t have anything with targets or images that could be associated with battles or triggers for traumatic memories for vets that served.

Please attach any files you think might help us with your logo design. Attached are some proofs from another company I was working with. We just couldn’t get to an image that represented how important it was to me. I also attached my customer person so you could review that as well.

Would you mind removing the rejections from the 204 entries you rejected? Freelancer.com now keeps a permanent record of contestants' rejected designs which can not be withdrawn.
