Overview::::
Our audiences are Mac owners and Apple users that need superior service. Whether it is in the form of a hardware repair, software issue or IT service for small to medium business. We offer a wide variety of personalised solutions. I like to think of us as professionals for Apple products and Mac Support.
Brand Name::::
Our Company name will be and displayed as Lower Case and/or Capital Letters (depending on the logo)
Designers may submit lower and upper case as a variation. But give more emphasis on the name ** MAKINA / makina ** as a
branding on its own with a logo that we would like to use.
- This contest is a challenge as such for a designer to come up with a design for logo and name. So guys stimulate your brains and see what inspires you!!!! No Apple logo is allowed.
Remember: We need the logo and Name to be side by side as a branding....
Legal entity of the company name is as follows:
"MAKINA Technology" or "Makina Technology"
Brief Summary::::
Above and beyond being "Apple Authorised Service Providers” We are also looking for a retail shop-front where a part of reception will be turned into a small sales area selling premium accessories for Apple devices and machines.
Our business encompasses forApplecare service WARRANTY and POST WARRANTY and may soon be resellers and service
providers.

I would like a logo that is versatile and with a meaning if possible. I personally have an idea but want you experts to first
submit your work and I can than see where we heading and share my idea with the winner to further the perfecting the design.
You may work on the logo around letter "M" and/or any other design that you feel is the best to compliment the company name.
File Format Requirement::::
- Require the final logo to be in (.eps .psd .cdr .jpg and a MUST is a (vector)
- I have no liking for 3D designs but would not mind seeing some variations I feel as trend is more FLAT logos now. The final logo should include 3D as well.
- The logo should be complimenting with Company name where we could place logo/name side-by-side as a branding and part of our marketing strategy.

* Looking for a clean fresh and unique Logo - Although the Company name doesn't have a meaning as such in English dictionary but our business is related to APPLE devices/machines and we give support and service aftercare.

CH we are not here to play hide and seek . .we cannot guess whats going in your mind. If you can show us some sample logos in your brief, we may able to give you more accurate designs. When you reject a design please leave a feedback why you rejected..everybody is trying hard over here...designers are not "mind readers".. i hope you understand what i'am trying to say. .

Ah - Bobby - how marvelous. You've extended the competition - I see, now, after 289 entries, all but 20 flat rejected and of those left - still barely rated at all! Does this mean you're finally going to start working with us to get this design the way you want it or are the proceedings just going to carry on in the vein you've let them to this point - you're clarification on this issue would be most welcome. Also with flat versions, you can go for a Reverse Image Search on Google to bust the copycats.. Always ask a designer to submit an original flat version on white BG for that.. Hope that makes sense..

No designer will submit as a 3d logo, they are just photoshop tricks, the final design is submitted by any designer is on plane background. Also logo on mockups looks very diffrent from plane background.Thank u .

Hi - You state in your brief you don't want 3D, however - the only entry you've rated - at all - is actually prepared as a 3D logo as are those remaining. You've specifically specified how you want flat 2D logos - but you've rejected all of those submitted. Do you actually want your buisiness logo designed?

Yeah, I know, this is how we work - but - I don't like bailing on them (Contest Holders) without giving them the chance to fix the problem. Doesn't mean I myself am going to be re-submitting a thing - already have work with people who need help - but at least if the contest holder here wakes up and starts working with the people that are trying - someones got a chance of winning. Including the contest holder. 209 entries with 177 flat rejects - all apparently with not a single thing right about them - is statistically impossible. It can't happen - and isn't. Indeed, we moved on to three other jobs the instant we hit submit but - still - I don't like just bailing on them. Got to give them the chance.
