We're looking for Photoshop experts to help us insert pets into artwork. Our company is using this contest to find talent as we expect to have a lot of this type of work. The task is simple -- use Photoshop to remove the cat's head from the photo and put it into the oil painting of the woman in a hat, replacing the woman's head. The result should look realistic, like the cat's head belongs there. Good luck!

    Thanks for all the entries to date. Please take a look at the highly rated submissions so far for ideas and guidance. You need to do more than cut out the cat's head with a feathered edge and place it over the lady's face. Nice treatment of the neck and hand can make your entry stand out. Keep in mind proportions. Is this body part consistent with the rest of the body and the clothing? Also, this is someone's pet and they are paying to have the pet added to a painting. The final product should be pleasing.

    I am withdrawing my entry because this is just another example of a contest holder allowing submission after submission without any mediation such as rating and rejecting. The net result is hundreds of sub standard entries and the good ones get lost in the mix, with no one knowing if they are on the right track. Before you know it, the contest is full of spam entries whose only purpose is to collect a share of the pot when the contest gets abandoned. It is an appalling state of affairs and this contest epitomizes everything wrong with this site.

    Please start rating the designs and rejecting those that are clearly rubbish so that the designs in contention are whittled down. I don't understand how some folk think that what they are submitting is in any way decent.
