We need a design for a 32" * 80" retractable banner for our Electronic Health Record (EHR) product MedicalMime. It needs to include our logo (attached) and fit in design with a few other artifacts such as the attached OneSheeter.
The EHR product is developed specifically for addiction treatment centers. The banner design should highlight some aspect of its key selling features, such as easy to use, highly customizable and very affordable. See our website at http://www.medicalmime.com for more information.
Context is a series of roadshow events we are planning for early 2019. The retractable banner will be brought to those events and set up in each location. An example of these banners can be seen here: https://www.fedex.com/en-us/printing/banners/retractable.html#details
Preferred colors include the blue and green from the logo, as well as white. Additional colors should be used very sparingly, if at all.

I want to emphasize again how much I appreciate the effort put into all submissions by these creative artists. Each design had at least one member of our voting panel who liked it best and many of the designs would have deserved to win. Many designs had really creative elements and we may extend offers to those in case we would like to use those elements in other marketing materials.
There is no ultimate fairness or "justice" with these kinds of contests, so please don't be too disappointed if your design didn't win this time.- 5 años atrás

After several rounds of internal polling we finally determined the winning design ( #106 ).
It was a close decision with a first poll among 8 top designs, which led to a tie and a run-off election among 3 finalist designs. (I will notify the other two finalists individually and we may make them offers for their designs as well.)
In the election, it turns out that the winning design won because nobody in the electorate disliked it. Other finalist designs were different in their nature and did not please everybody. With our majority based voting mechanism this put somewhat outstanding designs at a bit of a disadvantage. That said, eye-catching designs may just require to be different, even if that doesn't please everybody. Really all depends on who decides / how the decision is made. Rated and provided feedback to all 78 submissions.
Extended the contest by 3 days as we are running an opinion poll in the office to select the best design and there were still new designs coming in over the weekend (and refinements being made) which should be considered in the poll.
Please read the previous public comments carefully as I'm still getting stock photos of doctors with stethoscopes (not typically used in addiction treatment) or dentists. Also the phone number and website in the contact section (typically in the footer) need to be easy to read from a distance when standing a few meters away from the banner.- 5 años atrás

Rated all 53 submissions, provided detailed feedback in addition to below general comments.
One additional point: We have 3 products (M2Select = EHR rehab, M2Pro = EHR ambulatory, M2Speak = Transcription). This design is for M2Select = EHR rehab only. As a result, we do not want any of the following:
- no iPhone photo (as the iPhone app is for M2Speak)
- no stethoscopes or other ambulatory practice photos like dentist etc.
- no mention of the other products as that would take focus away from EHR rehab

Again, thank you for the many submissions (40+). I got to about 30 today with feedback, suggestions and ratings; more feedback tomorrow Thursday. Some general themes of feedback here for everybody:
- Banner needs to include the following elements:
- Logo with subtitle "EHR for Addiction Treatment Centers" (= what the product is)
- Summarization of the product benefits (= why customer should care)
- website, phone number and/or email (= call to action, where customer can contact us)
- Banner should *not* include the following:
- reference to roadshow or locations (so we can use it in other contexts as well)
- Most designs have really creative use of colors (blue, green, black, white).
- One caveat is that white font doesn't read well on light green or grey backgrounds (low contrast)
- Check your text for typos. (I had one submission with 6 typos on the banner!)

- The events location and dates are not scheduled yet; the designs need to be generic enough so they can be reused across multiple events.
- The banner format is 32 inches by 80 inches; submissions in other formats (like squares) will not be considered.
