¿Qué es PHP?
PHP is a programming language used often in web development. In modern parlance, PHP stands for Hypertext Pre-processor (back when the Internet was younger and a heck of a lot more basic, that acronym was Personal Home Pages). PHP is an especially popular server side scripting language, which basically means it's used to request content from a website’s server or database in order to make that content visible and accessible for a user. Generally speaking, it's brought to bear when somebody wants to develop either Static or Dynamic websites. It can also be used to knock out the odd Web Application, and scripts written in PHP can only be interpreted on a server that has PHP installed on it. PHP programmers develop on common e-commerce platforms such as Wordpress, Joomla, Magento, Zencart and Drupal.
