We are looking for a civil engineer to help us build a patio on the side of Oviedo Bowling Center. This will be an area where overflow of guests can comfortably wait for a lane or spend an evening. Food and alcohol will be permitted in this area, it will need a fence around the border. Large concrete slab patio with metal awning most of it. Have concrete company and awning company secured. City of Oviedo says that we need a civil engineer to provide signed and stamped plans and a "amendment to the site development order." I have a basic layout and design that I'd like to go with but I need a few things that are not in my field. The county requires a complete set of building plans and a signed truss certificate for the loads in my structure. The truss design needs to be signed and sealed by an Architect or Structural Engineer that is registered with the state of Illinois. I know this is not a large task, but I need it to move forward.
