The topic is about the impact of changes in time and demand in existing forecasts of materials in oil and gas. Most of the terms are O & G related for example ( Wells, rigs, coil tubing units, etc ) The paper should include the following: 1- Background about MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and how it is beneficial to a an company and how to implement it and what useful recommended softwares do the MRP job. 2- Two different forecast models based on Exponential Smoothing and Exponential smoothing with trend along with an excel sheet (Months of Forecast and D) with the equations implemented about the forecasts (The data are attached in with previous years of Actual/Demand numbers and they were all based upon " Forecast by Demand ")the writer should take one year as a reference and forecast the next years with the two equations, the forecasted numbers generated by the writer shouldn't be exactly as in the excel sheets attached, they should be almost the same, that's okay, as long as there were equations that generated them. 3- Statistical analysis with the forecasted numbers generated along with the original demand numbers and interpret the difference and how to reduce/maximize the units required. 3- Technical/Academic general writing about " Forecast model of change " more specifically about: - Material planning (the source is an advanced paper from any author). - BOM (elements and subelements shall be provided by myself). - Challenges in material planning. - Impact of change in scope. - Reasons of change of scope. - How to improve the forecast. - How to react with sudden changes in the scope (units were demanded after 4 months and suddenly they are required next month, what to do? how to improvise?). - How to react when the changes happen. - Ways to improve the down time of the impact and how to increase the up time. 4- More importantly, Infographic diagrams, spider webs, WBS, anything of the writer's choice as long as it clearly states the processes of the MRP, from factory exit till delivery. (In a normal program and also after there is a sudden change in the program). The project is adjustable and the submission time is in 2 weeks, these are not the final requirements any modifications may occur during these 2 weeks and it will be told to the bidder with time, always available for chat to discuss more about the project.
