ADOBE AIR / Actionscript 3 FTP Socket Expert We are looking for a hot Adobe AIR & Actionscript 3 guru to help us with our exciting project. We have written an app that uploads image via a FTP socket (AIR and AS3). The FTP module has been written but requires work as it seems to hang randomly. We have the following requirements for the developer and system: Project notes The application takes image files (JPG) [FileObject] and passes it through a loop; in the loop it creates a socket (per file loop) – connects to the FTP server and passes through the file data through a secondary socket. This uploads the file and the primary socket will return a 150 FTP code. The process will continue until all images are uploaded. On slower internet connections the FTP hangs a lot and is unstable, we need the app to work like FileZilla or WinScp. To be solid and reliable and be able to upload without interruption or hanging, if the internet is disconnected it should reconnect when internet connection is present again. Requirements 1. Developer must be an expert with sockets in as3 and Adobe AIR to debug the problems quickly and effectively. 2. The FTP process stops working unexpectedly on different FTP codes and on different internet speeds, especially on 3G or EDGE connections. 3. Must be able to test the FTP module on slow connections such as 3G and EDGE. 4. The app most notable hang on the following codes, however it should keep working on any code from FTP: a. 200 b. 421 c. 425 d. 227 5. If the application is disconnected from the internet, i.e internet connection broken it should continue to try and reconnect to the server and resume the uploads. 6. Code optimized as much as possible. Should only one socket connection be used in the while loop, in other words not every file gets a socket? To be discussed.

In which IDE is built your current project?
