I need someone familiar with oilfield drilling rigs and equipment to make me a 3D drawing in Autocad 2004 of a tool called "Type B HT55 Manual Drill Pipe Tongs" The tool is used to torque drill pipe on a drilling rig. I only have a few photos to draft this from-the purpose is to make a cast model in miniature approx. 4 inches long. The cast model may have 1 moving part (the actual rel tool has many-but for cast purposes just 1 part to move. The drawing would need to be in Autocad 2004 and saved as .dwg and .stl and also rendered as a 3d image for approval purposes. The model must be very exact in details-If you have experiences with oilfield tools and can make his for me from limited photos please contact me.

I can create a 3d model of your manual pipe tongs, given the proper images as referece. Within my bid: 1) 3d CAD model manual pipe tongs (according to client specs.) in . STL and .DWG 2004 format. 2) 3d render or 3d object showing details I will also include a 3d PDF for fast 3d exploration and fast feedback. Will Sketchup 3D model be fine. it can be exported in autocad. Sketchup can be rendered easier.

May do it for you in SolidWorks, and then transfer to Autocad 2004. Or make it in Autocad only. Waiting for your answer Best regards!
