Am looking for a way to encrypt my copyrighted content (including html, JS, Flash, Audio/Video, XML, CSS) and runtime decryption by web server.
Currently, i am using [login to view URL] as the web server. Server2Go is a portable web server with the support for PHP and other CGI scripts as well as MySQL. The base server it uses still remains the Apache. The server is purely portable and doesn’t need any kind of installation on user machine and can be ported on a CD as well. It provides a self configuring WAMP environment to server the content. Server2Go is open source and can be downloaded from [login to view URL] if you are interested in providing me the solution, am ready to buy development source for the Server2Go server.
I need all the content folders/files to be encrypted and to be decrypted by the server (server2go/apache) at the runtime. The existing encrypted file will remain as it but decrypted and severed by RAM.
I tried to search over the net and found a basic encryption tool [login to view URL]
Crypt is an open source file encryption tool written in VC++. It provides a number of command line options to encrypt/decrypt content.
If you are sure you can do it I can send you the source for Crypt tool as well or you can download it from the net. It’s freely available there. I have also uploaded the crypt utility alongwith source code here.
Output Expected:
Purpose is to protect the copyrighted content by encrypting the content files and, decrypting and serving the content from the RAM at runtime. The content is to be served by the web-server (Server2Go), so there needs to be a module to be developed within Server2Go/Apache, which understand the encrypted content (encrypted using Crypt), decrypts it on the fly and serves it to the users.
The platform remains the Windows family (XP, 2K, Vista) only.
I need it to be done pretty fast. Good work will be paid excellently.
