I estimate that the following will be necessary for the project: 1) Review of current hardware (inputs, outputs, timing, etc.) 2) Program Design (signal flows, module requirements, etc.) 3) Coding and Debugging (basic program) 4) Program Testing and Verification (basic program) 5) Scaling Recommendations (suggested hardware) 6) Packaging and Documentation (installation structure, user's manual, etc.) I estimate that the above tasks can be completed and reviewed within four weeks. Hello! I am working as C# developer in a small Company. Last year we made a lot of RFID systems. Working with Motorola and Nordic ID system. Mostly we worked for Library (book identifiy and burglar alarm etc.) and Factory. I have a lot of experience with .NET framework, the most RFID reader supports this. Nowadays I am dealing with Motorola FX9500/FX7400 and, so I know the advantage and disadvantage. Fortunately I have a test system as well (2 FX9500). If you tell me the details, then I can recommend a HW: - Could you tell me your ideal working idea? THe main purpose, not the full details. - How many RFID reader point do you need? - There are many RFID reader that have digital output port (mostly +24V), so I think there is no need additional controller board. - Program works only Windows or Linux? On linux there are many problems, the development time is twice than on WIndows. I have expericene with remote RFID hw-sw development. I have experience in doing similair software for windows, I have just finished developing a software that reads rfid tags and checks them in a database and is able to perform issues with this. And I have also previously, developed a software, that interface a board that controls relays according to different incomming events. So, I have the experience needed for this kind of development. I can provide you with a complete system, that can read an rfid tag, check this tag for a match in the computer, and perform a task depending on your needs, for instance sending a command to a usb connected board, that controls relays or similair. If you also have inputs on this board, the software can react to theese inputs. I can also if you want develop this software, so that it is a client server based software, where you can have multiple computers handling rfid tags and sends it all to a server, wich processes the information and lets you send information to a usb board situated at the server, for instance. The software will be developed for windows, and have database backend. Please note, since I will be providing you with the hardware as well, I will be needing a 50% fee before the development starts, to be able to buy the hardware required for this project. Also, the bid included here is for a client version, wich can do what you need, if you want a server-client version, I can develop this for you, for a small extra fee.
