We are looking for some creative individuals that can create a device driver that makes an Android device appear to a PC or Mac as a keyboard. When keys are pressed on the Android device, the keys will be sent through the USB cable to the PC or Mac.
The project involves creating a USB device driver on the Android to have the Android appear to the PC or Mac as a USB keyboard device. The keyboard device must appear as a US Standard 101/102-Key keyboard.
Before bidding on this project, here are some important design limits to keep in mind.
1. Your solution must only involve the installation of an APK on the Android device.
2. Solutions that require the installation of software on the PC or Mac are not acceptable.
There are two deliverables for this project. The first deliverable is the USB keyboard library. The second deliverable includes a very simple test application similar to that depicted in Figure 1 of the attached document. The test application will be used to determine if the project has been completed correctly.
