Part of my proposal is to understand your specifications/requirements for the input, output and errors. We could discuss this in detail or better yet if you have developed a document that defines this it would help. Otherwise I could write a document that document for you. If this is a short program, then all I really need is to implement the coding and provide you with the working code together with unit test cases I will run and the result of the unit test. My previous C program coding experience include: 1) investigative program using printer language which include processing Kanji characters. 2) Module that transforms CFILE format code to a C Header file. 3) Module that simulates the functionality of BEA Tuxedo's Field Manipulation Language. 4) Program used to test the results of existing modules by parsing it's output or returned value.
