Programmer needed We require three communications channels to our ‘Call Centre’ program (web or desktop). The successful applicant must be able to program in C# and action-script or (java ?) What we have today A database that holds information about clients, hosts, sessions etc. And a 80 % finished sites for the clients and the hosts For the ‘Client’ A website that displays all the available hosts (call centre people) and displays if they are online or not. From here the clients are able to choose their host and pick which method they want to communicate with them, i.e. chat, video chat or phone (which can be called from any type of phone). For the ‘Host’ An administration website for the ‘host’ in which they manage their workspace. If they are on-line they get indications that someone wants to communicate with them and they can choose to ‘Accept’, ‘Put on hold’ or ‘Decline’ the call (video, chat / text or phone) What we need 1. Chat Channel • Standard chat between a host and a client will always be only 1 person to 1 person. • When the chat starts there will be a time limit how long the chat can go on for. • The chat must count the minutes for the chat duration. • When the chat is broken or interrupted by the host or client the time counter must stop and the time must be possible to save in an existing database. • It must be a secure line that nobody can enter or disturb / disrupt. • The design of the chat font colour etc must be possible to be changed by parameters. • The communication will be saved in a database. • If the client’s time is out both client and host will be warned 2 minutes before and have the ability to credit their account. 2 Video Channel • Standard video chat between a host and a client will always be only 1 person to 1 person. • When the video chat starts there will be a time limit how long the chat can go on for. • The video chat must count the minutes for the chat duration • When the video chat is broken or interrupted by the host or client the time counter must stop and the time must be possible to save in an existing database. • It must be a secure line that nobody can enter or disturb / disrupt • (The design of the chat font colour etc must be possible to be changed by parameters) • The programming of both the client, host and server using a stream server like the FMS (Flash Media Merver) or Red5 or Wowza. • If the client’s time is out both client and host will be warned 2 minutes before and have the ability to credit their account. 3. Telephone • Clients should be able to call into the host via phone/mobile via VOIP and a SDK like VaxVOIP. • When the client calls the number and the host has a status of "Online" the host should be able to accept, decline, put on hold, play some recorded messages or transfer the call to an other host. • There must be a timer which holds the minutes that the client has paid for, that starts as soon as the host accepts the call and ends when either the client or host ends the call. • When the call is broken or interrupted by the host or client the time counter must stop and the time must be possible to save in an existing database. • If the client’s time is out both client and host will be warned 2 minutes before and have the ability to credit their account. We require ‘all’ applicants to provide us with some detailed information about how they would manage this piece of work, just saying “I / we can provide a solution” is not suffice and will not make the short list.
