I am an American born and educated professional journalist seeking long-term freelance opportunities.
Here's a short sample of an article published recently with The Griffin Report - a food service monthly:
There’s green in that yellow grease
There’s a bunch of pseudo hippies lying around the apartment watching movies on DVD when one chirps in saying, “It’s time.” The bunch load up into their fairly worn and old beat up pickup truck heading downtown to a fast food restaurant.
You’d think they’d be disappointed finding the restaurant closed. Not even the late-night drive-thru is open. There’s no one there. The cleanup crew has gone home.
Instead, the driver neatly backs the truck up to the dumpster area in the rear of the parking lot.
Dumpster area?
That’s right. These guys aren’t looking for a late-nigh snack.
They’re looking for grease. The nasty, well-used, rancid smelling liquid those fries you ate earlier in the day got cooked in.
Most restaurants store their used grease in large vats back by the dumpster – away from public view and in areas that are not too secure.
These boys are grease lifters.
NOTE: Your posting says 10 blogs at $1 each, so that's my bid! The system doesn't seem to allow me to bid lower than your announced budget.
I CAN follow instructions.
Thanks,
