Chinese Freelancers for Brand Names, Logos, Blog Copy

PROJECT TO START IN FEBRUARY 2011. We have a small legal office in Vancouver; we are planning to change our business to become an Intellectual Property (Trademark) law office with branding and logo design services. We want to start a service that will help North American and European companies to translate their brands into Chinese for the Great China markets (China, HK, Macao, Taiwan). We also want to provide digital marketing (SEO/SEM) for Western entrepreneurs who want to promote their businesses online in China. We need to work with a small team of affordable freelancers who can provide the following services on a per project/per piece basis: 1. Help convert Western business names to Chinese names (and ensure that the name does not have any negative cultural issues). EXAMPLES: CARREFOUR 家乐福 "家" refers to family. "福" means blessing COCA COLA 可口可乐 "可口" means tasty, and "乐" means happy. HUMMER 悍马 "悍" means "strong," and "马" means "horse." 2. Chinese Search Engine Marketing A. SEO/Link Building B. *Baidu Account setup* (very important) C. Help with marketing to gain Social Network fans/followers in China 3. Website Translation 4. Chinese Microblogging Service A. Set up and translate Twitter posts to Sina B. Blogbus, etc 5. Chinese Logo & Graphic Design (including use of Chinese characters in good design) 6. IN THE FUTURE: news journalism, article writing, hyperlocal blogging. 7. IN THE FUTURE: Chinese lawyers for help with company formation, trademark applications, business visas. We will be visiting China after the Summer so at that point we would like to work with you on opening a representative office. In the future, we have a plan to create bilingual English-Chinese news portals for target cities in China. We hope to build a long-term project with your partnership. :) NOTA BENE: As there are many projects listed in this proposal, please give a numerical amount bid for how much you would charge to translate one Business Name or Brand into Chinese, including cultural analysis.
