I understand exactly what you want, and I know exactly how to do it. I will create an auto hot key which runs in the background without any interference to other programs. But it will allow you to copy using one hotkey in any program you desire, of course including excel and word. The hotkey or hotkeys can easily be made into any key or keys you desire.
