Timeline: Revised Spreadsheet by Tuesday 10/8/13, but working with me ongoing through March of next year.

Scope:|

I need an assistant to work with me for several months part time on revising and maintaining an Excel spreadsheet/database.

YOU MUST be an Excel Specialist for this work, it is not good enough to just know the basics of excel.

While this is a part time role I am going to need you to making revisions to the document upon request and to be available to me via email and Skype. Speaking good English would be helpful as well.

I will send you a current excel spreadsheet that will need to be modified as follows:

The current spreadsheet has five tabs, You will focus on tabs #1 -#4

Tabs #1 will provide you with each task and the group/person and color of the group. You will chart out on Tab #2 each task and timeline in the associated color and associate the task from Tab #1 to the schedule on tab #2.

The goal is to provide a visual layout when tasks are in progress and when they are expected to be completed.

The same will need to be done for Tab #3 tasks and plotted on tab #4 as well in the same manner.

You will need to first revise the spreadsheet as follows: For schedule please change time line in to remaining months of year. October – March 2014 and if possible I would like the ability to be able to view by week view as well or single month view.

Tabs #1 and #3 that contain tasks will also need to revised prior to start as follows:

1. Make columns from left to right as follows: Task, Accountability, Date Start Date Required, [in one column three parts] Green= On Target Yellow= Approaching Due Date and Red=Overdue [see note below]

2. Imagine at the top of this column you have the three status listed and text color coded. Then the columns below for each action item I can just shade the box based on color to indicate status of task completion.

3. The last column would be “Task Status”

Some final thoughts: If you are really good with excel and have some other ideas to make this work better, I am certainly open to your creativity.

What would be perfect solution would be I populate tasks and start dates and due dates and that automatically generates the schedule and adjusts the boxes so I dont have to do it manually. Also that it automatically flags approaching tasks and overdo or expired tasks.

I will share the file with bidders who are in the final selection process and really show interest in this work.

I will need a working excel spreadsheet as soon as Tuesday 10/8/13 and again you will stay on with me over the course of several months reviving the schedule as tasks are added, deleted and revised week to week, month to month.
