Climbing Gym List

This project is to enter and sort data into excel. The data can be manipulated using excel functions and can be completed very quickly if you are familiar with excel. I have started to compile a list of indoor rock climbing gyms from [login to view URL] and other similar websites. Please see the attached file. In the file I have begun to list states of all the gyms. Not all of the states are completed, and not all of the states are formatted how I need them. The deliverable is as follows: Using all the data from all of the worksheets in the attached file, compile the data into worksheets that list all of the climbing gyms by their state and/or canada. Also, put all of the formatted lists of gyms by state into one large worksheet that uses the same formatting and has all of the gyms for the united states and canada. You will see in the document that after I list some of the states I have other datasources. All of this data is included in the project scope. You will have to check for duplicates. Duplicates should be deleted. If there are any discrepancies in the data, highlight the text in green, and alert me at the end of the project to all of the discrepancies. The worksheet for California contains the proper organization and formatting for the gyms. The project will not be considered complete until all data is correctly formatted and sorted. Below is a description of all the desired fields in the spreadsheet. It is your responsibility to categorize the provided information, not to search for information on the web. If data is missing, leave the field blank. All fields are to be formatted as text, except for the zip code and the gym sq/ft. Name - This field is for the name of the gym Name 2 - This field is for the occasion when there are multiple names for the same entry -Format: text Street - This field is the street address Street 2 - This field is for the building number, or any other aspect of the address, including PO BOX City - This field is for the city where the gym is located State - This field is for the state where the gym is located Zip - This field is for the zip code of the mailing address for the gym Phone - This field is for the primary phone number Phone 2 - This field is for the secondary phone number Web - This field is for the gym's website Contact - This field is for the name of the contact person, if applicable Email - This field is for the email for the gym or the contact person Gym sq/ft - This field is for the size of the climbable area of the gym.
