I have two RPi 2B's, one as a receiver and one as a transmitter. The transmitter has a Laser Photodiode and the receiver has a photodiode receiver. The electronic circuits are built and working. On the transmitter RPi, I would like to open text file then send it as a modulated PPM signal to the GPIO and use the LASER to transmit the data. On the receiver RPi, I would like to receive the data signal, port it to a GPIO pin and then decode de text file. The code needs to be commented suitably to allow understanding and also to allow fine tuning or expansion. This code will not be used for any commercial gain

I put 15 days, because I will not be available for one week. I have two B's so it would be easy to setup, at least the basic setup with direct GPIO connection (with a wire). Please be aware that your electronics circuits which shape the signals (especially at the receiver side) are of great importance. Basically the project would be: 1. proof of concept that it works with direct link between to RPi B's GPIO (wire connection) 2. test and troubleshoot with diodes (driving transistor pulse shapes, receiving pulse shapes)
