With a BA Lang majoring in English, I qualified as a professional linguist working for the Directorate Language Services (Defense); went on to be promoted in the Language Bureau (Navy); then left to become first Deputy Editor and later Editor of Navy News Magazine; resigned after 18 years to freelance during which time I did ghost-writing of many books, wrote copy for clients’ websites and marketing material, edited and proofread 4 books and brought them to publication.
