If that's true, Bulgaria is one of the best countries for manufacturing of this device, we are an European country, but still with developing economy, that makes our labor in times cheaper than any USA or central Europe countries labor. However as an European country we have factories that follow all the directives and regulations of the EU and we produce by that standards. Summarized in Bulgaria you can get European quality (incomparable to China or India), on a lower price than standard. Now for the work on the prototype: I keep on communication on all stages of development. I respond 24/5 on any calls regarding the project. I provide 24/7 access to the development files and history on all changes. Regarding the price: For the first prototype: I am lowering the price of the work, simply because I like what you do and I support art in general. For later copies: Depending on the counts the price will fall. In general you can set the target price tag for you and it will be kept in the design process. Hello. I am very interested in your project. I am a developer of various devices based on the PIC/dsPIC, AVR, STM8, x51 controllers and I have experience in the development many different devices based on these controllers, also in assembly of prototypes and launching small series of devices into production. I have several idea as to the project: The design of this device can be made of transparent or different colors acrylic. Also, possible a decorative photo printing on the side surfaces of the device case. Cutting of acrylic will be carried by laser, this allows to produce different sized of parts for different cards. For the opening mechanism can be used stepper motor with lid direct drive this allows to control the movement speed and the opening angle, also a clear fixing of lid in any open position. To produce of the prototype I need to know: 1. What can be size of postcards. 2. Battery life. The ability to work from the AC. 3. Cycles of work time, opening speed. Also I have a lot of questions on the project, some of which I think will be solved after the detail of the project. Based on the level of complexity and significance of the project, the scheduled development period is about 2 weeks (more exact - after agreeing of the project details), and the cost of the work on a Prototype $250 and the subsequent copies of device will be cheaper (the cost will depend on the quantity of devices).
