1. PDF contains multiple pages organised into two page sets, of approximately 2 to 100 sets.
2. Script to save out each two page set; i.e. (pages 1 & 2), (pages 3 & 4), (pages 5 & 6) until end of PDF file is reached.
3. Script to save out each set into folder according to a excel file in sequence.
4. PDF is file called '[login to view URL]'
5. Excel is called '[login to view URL]', data contained in worksheet "pdf export", column A "text" (example "1NORTH_2014_April_")
6. Excel will contain exact number of sets required.
7. Prefer VBA script running from Excel, but I am open to other solutions.
8. Cells in worksheet "pdf export", column A, may contain duplicate entries, therefore duplicate entries should automatically have a number added after them, i,e "("1NORTH_2014_April_", "1NORTH_2014_April_1", "1NORTH_2014_April_2, etc)
BONUS : Extra $$ will be paid if prior to applying number to duplicate, a folder is searched looking for the last number in the sequence first, before next number in sequence is applied. i.e. if search folder contains "1NORTH_2014_April_5", the next file will be saved automatically as "1NORTH_2014_April_6" and so on.
Please find attached test files for you to work on.
Splitting a PDF file is a separate project in itself. It is beyond the scope of a small VBA project. However, there are free 3rd party utilities to accomplish the task. In VBA, they can be invoked from the Shell with the required parameters. If you are fine with using these utilities, then I can write the VBA code for you in a couple of days to meet all your mentioned requirements.
