Design a Printed Map for Tourists and Visitors to our Lake

We need a map created for tourists visiting our lake. This map will be a printed map that will be handed out and sent to visitors, sometimes through the mail. Designer will be responsible for developing/illustrating the map. I will provide guidance about what points of interest need to be highlighted on map, and all copy. Designer will be responsible for creating/illustrating map graphics (a lake and its surrounding area), including streets, highways, towns, and points of interest. End product will be an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet or 8 1/2 X 14 sheet, two sided, full color - one side being map design, other side being a description of points of interest around the lake and other tourist information. Upon completion, I will require the original file used to create the map so I can make changes as necessary in the future. I will also require a press quality .pdf to send to print. Preference will be given to those who can provide a portfolio of past, similar work. Additional details provided over PM as necessary. Thanks!
