We invite bids on the development of a website that will allow users to view data on a select set of bonds and associated interest rate futures.
The contract will be for a turnkey website and required background software, including all costs of 3 years of cloud based web hosting and one year of support for any identified errors or omissions in the software provided. The cloud service quoted shall be of good repute, the name of which shall be included in the proposal.
User interface:
The website will be free, open to the public, with the intention to generate revenue from sidebar ads. There will be no user log-in, or accounts.
Background:
Most of the data will be collected from public sources (scraped) and will be appropriately cited. Remaining data will come from proprietary sources. The software required for the data collection is within the scope of this RFP.
All intellectual property (code) created during the execution of this contract shall be and remain the property of the buyer.
The execution of a non-disclosure agreement will be required before the start of work.
The estimated lead time shall be included in the proposal.
The website shall be tested and shown to be stable for users accessing the site with the latest version of IE, Firefox, and Safari.
