Board Game Illustration

The project is all about developing a board game. Criteria to Design: • A racing game where players can design their own tracks. • Need: Surface of the racing arena along with borders and ranks of spectators on all four sides. • Since the track will be laid out newly by players each time, I don't need actual racing tracks on the board, just the surface of the arena. • In order to find out what looks best, it would be great one illustrator could prepare two options for a design for (a) Asphalt surface (b) Dirt surface • I don't need any of the track barriers, grass patches etc. Just the entire arena surface, along with spectator ranks on each side. Surface patterns shouldn't repeat themselves anywhere on the board. • The dimension of the board will be 36 inches by 24 inches. • A small band of 1 inch on each side should be used for boundary and spectator ranks, the rest of the surface is for the actual racing area. • Given that the size of the racing cars will only be around 9/16th of an inch by 7/16th of an inch, the people in the spectator ranks need to be scaled accordingly (lots of very tiny people). I am sending some example pictures attached of what such arenas look like in real life with either asphalt or dirt.
