Here's our recommendations: We will not recommend to use Wordpress due to security issues, as such websites must be build using some framework like MVC platform of CodeIgniter or Laravel but if you still want to use WordPress, no problem, as we experienced in WordPress. So, let's see how we will do this: - We will call the API end point: api/vehicle/v2/makes - It would returned an array of objects describing car makes. From the list we will bind the dropdown. - Then we need to call the api/vehicle/v2/{make}/models - Here we need to pass the make selected by users. It will return an array of objects describing car models. - After the above call when user will selct a particular model we need to redirect him to details page. To get the details of a particular model we need to call: api/vehicle/v2/{make}/{model} - it will return the required display item. Now, I am not sure about your Lead System, I think you do not have this and I will have to build it, is it correct? If you already have a system then please get back to me I would have to dig into this before commit you anything. Except Vehicle type edmunds can send us everything. Whatever, after my analysis I have got the rest point that how we can manage this API call. Word is limited so I am giving you a short brief Make and Model tab of Autoweb. We need a Mock-up which will give us a clear picture what would be there in UI. As soon as we will be able to confirm the UI element I will check the API end point again to confirm the required list.

While we fetch vehicle details using API when the user searches, the site may also need to feature (e.g. landing) categories and some other featured details like in autoweb (e.g. to be defined by site admin) ? Ideally we would like to propose custom PHP application (not WP), however we are open to using WP.
