I am looking for a straight forward simple black & white logo with the name of my acting academy. ACTORS APPROACH ACTING ACADEMY. I have provided 4 mock-ups of what I am looking for. Please keep your concept in line with the ideas presented here, but if my ideas inspire your creativity, please feel free to offer something unique as well. I am looking for a solid, thicker font (like what is used in my mock-ups) but I do not want it to be a standard Arial font. Please find a better font than Arial. I do not like the serif fonts with the tails. I also do not like thin fonts or script fonts. I want the font to be easy to read & easy to print/embroider on clothing. I like how the word ACTORS is just a bit below the center line so it appears as if it is rising out from them white. The first & second mock-ups have different borders (I don't know if I like the one with the white border, but I offer it to you as an idea to explore). The third & forth mock-up have a tiny apostrophe in the ACTORS to make it possessive. I used the apostrophe as 1 side of the Comedy/Tragedy Masks and then played around with it so I got both the Comedy/Tragedy Masks as the apostrophe. I don't know if I love the idea or hate the idea because my mock-up is clumsy & I'm not talented like you. If you can add add the apostrophe as the Comedy/Tragedy Masks and have it be visible, but not overpowering, and remembering that I need to print & embroider this on clothing, please offer some concepts with this too if you are inspired. The overall feeling I want people to get from the logo is quality, strength, professional, serious, mature. I will NOT be teaching acting to kids, so I do not want any part of the logo to have anything childish, youthful, silly or playful. This is a serious professional acting academy that will be extremely selective on who is accepted into the program. Thank you & I look forward to seeing your ideas.
