Design a logo

I need a logo designed for my hobby. Its food related. I need the faces to be realistic yet slightly cartoonish (one must be able to recognize the persons by glance even though they are "cartoons" NOT CARICATURES). Colours - Blues, greens, reds, and whatever may meld well. There is a symbol for vegan foods on the internet - its a "V" in the shape of a leaf. If more info and clarity is needed, you can contact me at any time. The logo needs to be playful and inviting. My idea is to have my granny (one face-shes the serous one) with a rolling pin in her hand while, my mom (the smiling bubbly one) is doing just that smiling. They must be facing each other NOT SIDE BY SIDE ON ON TOP OF EACH OTHER. There is a traditional red and white checkered design that is a known symbol for kitchens and food, I'd love this to be a part of the logo, be it as an apron, background, scarf etc. NAME- MaeKit (yes spelt exactly like this) TAGLINE- Homespun Goodies Please-I DO NOT want a computer generated replica of their faces. The completed logo must be clear enough that if it shrunk to a 1 inch x 1 inch you can still see all main details clearly. And like wise if enlarged or "super sized". I know there is more to add here, but for the moment this is what Im remembering.
