I am a professional fashion designer from NIFT, Mumbai (one of Asia's leading fashion college) and have a work experience of more than 2 years with retail brands, and fashion designers where I have designed collections and executed the designs. Macy's, INC, GAP, Aeropostale, Park Avenue, Reliance Trends are to name a few. I have also Worked for Lakme Fashion Week collection of Kunal Rawal. I have been designing collections and accessories for various brands, startups and clients from around the world including Dubai, Texas, London, Indonesia, etc. I have designed various women's wear collections targeting different age groups and markets. I handle the tech pack development, print design, embroidery design, silhouette ideas, illustration and garment construction for the collections. I am one of the top 10 national level graphic designers selected by World Skills Organizations, 2013. Hence, I am fast and well versed with all graphic designing software.

To Whom It May Concern: I am writing in response for your need for a fashion designer to help with your starting apparel business. Thank you so much for sharing your vision of not only what types of garments that you would like to manufacture, but also with what style you would want them to be in. I feel I already have a good starting point to help you with this venture. I have seven years of experience in the apparel industry in many different aspects- designing, sourcing, production and marketing. I have worked with several start-ups and helped guide them on the right path for their companies. To start, I would want to meet with you via Skype so that I can get a very clear understanding of the items that you would like to produce. Once, I have that and I understand who your customer is as well as your retail price points, I will create a mood board to make sure we are on the right path. From there, I will create your designs as technical illustrations. This will save you time and money when it comes time to manufacturing your pieces, as it will be a necessary part of the tech pak. These images will be sent to you in both their native ai files types in case you ever need to edit them, as well as a file type that will be suitable for dropping into a tech pak (a png as well as a pdf).
