Change Product Detail Slide Down To Lightbox On Collection PAge

I have a shopify template that has a features on the collection page that slides open to reveal all the product information, including the photos, description, quantity box and buy buttons. I would like this slide down to open up in a lightbox instead of sliding down like it currently does. The site also features a slidedown section that shows your cart when you add something to it. I need to keep that feature as a slidedown and for it to stay visible even when the customer is in the lightbox adding things to the cart.
