create an interface: firebird DB -> xml file upload

I would like you to write an interface that imports data from a firebird db and exports it as gzipped xml files to a web url. the data is from a holiday home renting software and is exported to another renting software. so the data format, field names, table names etc. are not the same and you will have to map them. It is probably not possible to map all data, but it should be as much as possible. There is documentation available for the xml api: [login to view URL] For the firebird db there is no documentation, but we will be there to help you understand the data and with any questions you might have. The data entities can be roughly named as: - contact data - holiday home data (=apartments / houses) - booking data The interface should be written in java (or even better groovy). We require all rights to the code. This job is considered done, when the data is actually imported in the new software. Of course the data we will provide is strictly confidential and may not be used in any other way.
