Requirement :
Need a web based point of sale
1) Providing simple sales, return and exchanges and provide a way to print the receipts(preferably wireless) .
2) Provide the tenders with credit card payments(which should support wireless card reader) and cash
3) Need to provide reports interface for daily, weekly register specific.
4) Need to provide multi user.
5) Need to provide support for barcode generator for inventory entering and barcode reader (preferably wireless) for sales.
I would like to divide the application with different technologies preferably.
Front end : Bootstrap, javascript, jsp, ajax
Request Controller : webservice request (return JSON response)
Validation : Spring mvc
Service layer : using spring
Back end : mybatis
Database : mysql (prefer open source)
I would like to have a process run as batch process to backup the mysql(database) to database running on aws.
