Building an Audio Recognition system using matlab using feature extraction methods which are 1-Zero crossing rate 2-Linear predictive coefficiants and might use 3-linear prediction cepstral coefficients and then using Gaussian mixture model in a GMM Classifier. The system needs to identify certain events which are: 1- foot steps 2- door knock 3- someone speaking 4- someone crying or asking for help Audio samples that are used for programing need to be send along with the Matlab code. The files should have .m extention (matlab format) except for audio sampels those should be in .wav Detailed explanation is needed
