battery power management software

The goal of this project is to develop a software capable of:

1 - Reads if computer is on battery (DC) or AC power;

2 - Reads computer power consumption from BIOS;

3 - Reads battery power information (Percentage of charge, time to run out of power);

4 - Reads IP and MAC (so we have an idea of geographic location of computer, and identify specific problem computers);

5 - Capable to switch computer from AC to DC or DC to AC;

6 - Capable to send all this data, logged on a per minute basis, to our server;

7 - Capable to switch computer from AC to DC and DC to AC with a command from our server;

Initial focus on MSFT windows OS.

All source code is part of the deliverables with software.
