Android app development - relatively simple

I would like an Android application developed which provides the user with spoken messages. The basic functionality is as follows: - Open app, show splash screen - Choose male or female voice - Choose message category (one of 6 or 7) - Listen to positive message, also written on screen. Maybe meditative background music. - Choose to replay, listen to next message or choose another category - Maybe 10 to 20 different messages for each category. Each message is a single sentence (5 to 8 seconds long). I would provide all voice recordings, background music, app icon and graphics other than navigation / button graphics if required (I'm happy with a slick but simple interface). The app would be free on the Android market with ads served within the app - I'm thinking about AdMob for delivering advertising but am open to suggestions. I am happy to give a new freelancer a chance at the right price and I would like to see a portfolio / screen shots of other apps. You will be asked to sign a simple non-disclosure and work-for-hire agreement. This is a work for hire project and I will own all rights to the product.
