App for a record breaking charity walk to raise more money

We are a charity that runs a very large charity walk each year (7,500 participants in 2013) that involves a lot of teams from law firms, chambers, courts and others in the legal profession.
What we would like to do is harness the potential of the competitive spirit between the teams in a fun and friendly way by giving them an app that allows them to see their "standing" against other teams in relation to fundraising and then promote their own fundraising to raise their ranking.
I attach a rough pdf of what I would imagine it to look like.
It would take the information for how much the team has fundraised from that individuals team page (which they would just have to choose once at the start) - [login to view URL] have said they have an API so this shouldn't be a problem.
They would then be able to choose from the other teams registered with pages on virgin money giving that were fundraising for us to choose up to 9 other teams to be against and then it would update what position they were in, in comparison.
The buttons at the bottom would then link to all the other social media sites/email/text where their teams address would automatically populate so that they could direct people to their page and ask for more donations.

Obviously as a charity we have little to no budget for this but if anyone was willing to donate some time and get this off the ground we would more than make up for it in exposure and introductions to thousands of people and hundreds of potential corporate clients as well. We've put a budget below but really want thoughts and ideas of how we can get this done so please let us know what you think.
