Check for connection to a wireless router

Simple Android App that:
When it opens it shows a Textbox and a Save Button.
In the textbox I want to enter a phone number and save it.
This phone number should be saved and it should be present in the text box if I close and open the app again.
The app should check <<every 1 minute>> if it is connected to a wireless network ( I don't need it to check if there is internet connection, just if it's connected to a wireless router/network ).
If the app determines there is no wireless connection established ( and there is a phone number entered and saved in the textbox ) it will call the number in the textbox and close itself.
The app should prevent the phone from going to sleep mode.
