Debug Native FFMPEg library for Android Lollipop compatibility

I built a live streaming app that relies on a few open-source native libraries to manage FFMPG and Libav. I suspect this has to do with PIE compilation but I'm not an expert and have not been able to resolve the issue myself. I'm looking for someone who can deep dive into the native libraries and recompile them in a way that will be compatible for Android Lollipop as well as Android 16+. NOTE: my understanding is that getting these libraries to be compatible for any Android versions below KitKat 4..4.1 would require additional work. I'm not looking for universal compatibility right now, just compatibility from KitKat to Lollipop.
