Correspondence Management System (CMS)

A system for managing electronic correspondence. The CMS will be used to automate the management of electronic correspondence and support the adoption of best practice and standards in information management. The system must provide an acceptable level of functionality and administration control over email correspondence. Key components of the CMS should include as a minimum: • Creation • Classification (taxonomy) • Capture • Security • Storage • Retrieval • Archive • Disposition • Auditing • Policies The system should intergrate with other system but not limited by the following system:- • Microsoft Active Directory (for user and group security). • MS exchange (for capturing in/out emails). • Microsoft CRM (for contacts information) • MS SharePoint Portals (for business/project files). • Portable devices (like blackberry, etc…)
