I have a small Access 2003 database application which is an analysis and recovery system for overpayments. This is used by an analyst/collection agent to determine corrective action which includes if collection letters should be sent out and so forth. I want to convert this to an ASP.NET C# application using the 3.5 framework, SQL Server 2005 and Visual Studio 2008. The following? work is needed:
?
Convert Access forms to ASP.NET forms (markup and code behind)
Convert Access tables and queries to all SQL Server objects (Access tables? => SQL tables, Access queries? => SQL Server? user defined Views)
Convert Access macros to modules
Convert Access reports to SSRS reports
Convert all global module code to base classes
Preferably no inline SQL except for simple select statements. Otherwise, stored procs.
?
Thank you,
John
## Deliverables
You can decide the best way to convert the Access macros. I would assume they should be converted to separate classes with methods, or methods within the existing ASP.NET code-behind.
