Automated Betting Bot Required for Betfair

I require an experienced database expert who is competent with MySQL and who can create an automatic betting system for me. I will be using [url removed, login to view], and therefore there is an API already available, provided by betfair, which you can use.

The automated bot is required to watch and then place bets at certain times in one of the betfair games, which can be found at www.betfairgames.com. The bot will be required to carry out the following operations:

• Record the number of losing streaks of games played

• Place a starting bet after a certain number of losing games played.

• Once it has started to bet, it must continue to bet on each hand until it wins. This will be based on a formula which I will make available. The bot must be able to check the results of the hand and work out whether it has won or lost within a very short period of time.

• Once the bot has won, it must then stop and await the next losing streak.

• The system must be able to work on a server

The system must also be capable of:

• Having the number of losing streak games changed (i.e. I may want it first to only place a bet after 5 losing streaks but to change that at a later date to 10 or to lower it to 2)

• Have the password of the bot to be easily changed by myself

• Have the minimum bet amount to be changed

• To have the odds offered by the bot to be changed (i.e at first I may want it to only place bets at 5.6 or above but later to reduce that 3.5 or above)

Payment Terms

The payment terms are as follows:

25% of the payment on initial completion of bot, its installation and successful running.

30% of the payment to be made available after 1 month, which allows me to make sure the bot is running properly and for any bugs to be worked out.

45% of the payment at the end of three months from the project being awarded. This lets me make sure that the bot is fully working and that any problems are sorted.

A bonus payment of 50% will be available if the programme is still running properly at the end of six months.

I may be willing to negotiate on the second and third payment terms if I think you have done a good job. The reason for the low initial payment is because a programme which isn’t working is worthless to me. You may have put in the time but if it doesn’t work, I’ve got nothing. As such, I hope the bonus payment helps make this easier.

Payments will be by Escrow. If this doesn’t suit, don’t bid. I will deposit the funds through GAF as each stage is completed.

Timescale

It is more important that you give me a realistic timescale than anything else. If you can do it in one week, great, but do it in one week. If its going to take a month, just say so. I prefer realistic than wildly hopeful.

This is the third time I have listed this project, with varying successes. My last designer had a copy running and operational but was injured in a bike crash before we got the bugs sorted out. I know it can be done and I know that the API that betfair provides makes this a relatively easy project for someone who knows what they are doing.

If this project is successful, I will have other bots I will be requesting in the next six months.
