We desire .NET web page written in C# that looks very much like <[login to view URL]>
You can access the site by
1) Goto <[login to view URL]>
2) Click [test drive with fictional data][1].
3) Click [Start the test drive.][2]
4) Click Gradebook
The resulting HTML source is in the zip file attached.
Gradebooks are not uncommon in educational application. This page is no different -- much of the features will be implemented using Client Side Javascript to mitigate round trips to the Web server and database (as is evident in the page above) the C# ASPX will dynamically write the page out from values derived from the database. We will need to take the page and enable it to be launched in a window based on a querystring parameter ClassID. Based on this parameter, the page will construct the gradebook for the class. There are any number of students and any number of assignments per grading period. Grades are calculated for each student and saved to a database along with the grades for each assignment. We have a data model already developed but you can enhance as you need to provide the functions needed.
Use the page above as a prototype and we should be fine.
For a bonus, if this can be developed into a reusable control where there are categories on the left and measures on the top with values in the middle, like a spreadsheet. I would be willing to pay extra for this solution.
