A Com Dll which will capture the audio stream from a particular process and leave everything else out.

## Deliverables

I need a Com Dll which will take a process pid or a window handle, and then capture all the wave data that this process streams into a wave file. I need to be able to set the window handle or process pid via a property, the output wave file name, samples per second like 44100, bits per sample like 8, 16 or 32, and number of channels (1 is mono 2 is stereo). I will then call a method to start the capturing, and the capturing will start in an own thread as to not block my program from executing commands. I need to have an event fired if there is an error of any kind, and I need a method to stop the capturing. While data is being recorded it must be written to the wave file directly and not saved in memory, since that will result in a stack overflow if I record too much information. It is very important that the program only captures the output stream from the process I have set, it needs to leave everything else out. If I stop the capturing and then start it again, the data which is recorded there after must be added on to the already existing wave file. Then, there can be a method in the control to add the headers when all recording is complete, if that is easier than to add them automatically. That is up to the coder really. Please no use of the .Net Framework, since that will require my users to download it and I want to avoid that. I would also like the source code of the finished product.
