I am looking for someone who has experience writing plugins for Adobe Premiere. Problem: I have about 50 AVI files on my hard disk, taking up about 5GB, which is about 10-15 minutes of DV. I no longer need these on my drive, but as the files were captured from about 20 different tapes, I want to archive these in a way that I can get them back on my computer with minimum effort. Solution? I need a plugin for Adobe Premiere that will perform an archive, like an "Export to Tape" of all the AVIs in my project, making note of the original timecode, and creating something like a batch list, to go back and get the AVIs from the tape, but with the original timecode put back. --------------------------------------------- OK, lets cut to the chase... Initially, I am looking for someone to create a "proof of concept", no fancy GUI, no unnecesary crap, just 1 button to archive, another button to restore. I am using PAL format DV (25 frames/sec, 720x576 pixels, 16bit audio), and I only need it to work with that format for now. Once we have that, and I am happy with the work and the coder, we will need to make a GUI, allow different options, partial restore, etc, as well as different tape formats etc, so lots of future work.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
## Platform
Initially Windows 2000/XP, but possible future Mac as well. I am using Premiere 6.0, but want something that will work with 6.5 as well (or instead)
