Citrix Virtual Channel

Project scope:

Create both sides of Citrix Virtual Channel (as per SDK v2.3) to allow execution of custom URI’s on client machine when requested by application running server side in citrix session.

Requirements:

1. Server side launcher

1. WFVirtualChannel* functions wrapped into Delphi unit and .NET assembly for consumption by both platforms.

2. Support Citrix Metaframe Server v4

3. Add logic to inform consumer when client side of channel does not exists (as to allow alternative code path when client is not prepared)

4. User ‘ERMSURI’ as channel name

5. Once presence of client is determined on class instantiation, URI launching should be non-blocking.

2. Client side VD “driver??

1. Implement validation of requested URI, only execute registered URI’s to prevent potential abuse of the channel

2. Use shell execute to launch URI

3. This part will have to be done in C++, use unmanaged C++ from [url removed, login to view] 2005

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) Full C++ project with all code (excluding Citrix VC2.3 SDK code) for client VD driver DLL

b) Full Delphi unit and associated structure mappings for Delphi wrapper class

c) Full .NET 2.0 project including platform invoke definitions for .NET wrapper class, code in C# preferred

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
